Looking for a September Bucket List? Here are my favorite things to do during September!

September marks the start of the best four months of the year – the -BER months. I love September through December for so many reasons, but the holidays and the change in seasons are at the top of my list. It’s always fun to kick off this season with fun activities.
- Decorate for Fall.
- Go apple picking – check out my tips for Apple Picking in New England here
- Bake Apple Crisp or Apple Pie.
- Watch a football game – GO VOLS!
- Cook a pot of Chili – this is our family’s favorite chili recipe.
- Go on a leaf walk with the girls to look for leaves changing.
- Visit an orchard
- Shop at a Farmer’s Market.
- Drink a pumpkin coffee.
- Declutter and donate old clothes or home items.

My September Bucket List has my favorite things to do to celebrate fall. I always pull out my fall decor on Labor Day weekend to transition our home from summer to autumn. Making a pot of chili is always one of the first things I cook when the weather starts to cool down. As the orchards overflow with apples, I like to make my Grandma’s signature Apple Crisp for dessert.
Another must do on my September Bucket list is declutter and donate. Every September I unpack my fall clothes and make a donation pile of what I did not wear last season. Then I shop for a few new fall clothing items – this year is extra special because everything has to be bump-friendly. Looking for non-maternity fall outfits? This is perfect! I just leaned over to my boyfriend and asked if we can go apple picking soon, haha 😉 I really want to check out Lyman’s Orchard this year too! Great list!
The Ber months are my favorite too! I just love anything & everything from September – December!
Love the fall decor in your pic! I agree 100% on Lyman’s having the most amazing cider donuts. I’m obsessed with the glazed ones.
What a fun Fall bucketlist! Going to the orchard is on mine too! Love getting the freshly baked apple cider donuts!

Yay Fall!! This is such a perfect bucket list for the month! Sadly this week is technically my last week of September, haha. I’ll be away for the rest of the month starting on Friday so I’ll have to save my New England Fall stuff for October!
I loveeeeee Chili (we made it a few times over the Summer too as meal prep, but it’s so much more comforting to eat in the Fall, haha)

This is such a good bucket list for September and fall! I’ve always wanted to go apple picking, I think this might just have to be the year!
I always love a good bucket list!! I definitely want to go apple picking this fall too!
Autumn always makes me sad that I’m super allergic to apples – and even worse, that I prefer them to pumpkins haha! But these are all such great ideas to enjoy the season!
You’re right about decorating, it will be holiday season before we know it! It’s also such a good idea to use the start of a new season as a time to go through your closet and donate, this is something I’ll be doing too.
Such a fun September bucket list!! Can’t wait to decorate more for Fall and go apple picking!

I love all of this. I just decluttered all my girls’ clothes, and I have never been to an apple orchard. Totally on my list!!
Oh this is such a fun list! I’m definitely looking forward mostly to just decorating for Fall!
I have so many fun and exciting trips coming up that I need to make one of these little lists!
Prepping for fall and eating/drinking all the pumpkin things are always must-do’s for me in September! Your list looks great!

Love these Fall activities! I can’t wait to make the first pot of chili this season. I inevitably always make it too early on, while it’s still so hot in Dallas and we sweat eating it ?
