Easy dinners are a must for busy families. The Greek Chicken Meatball Bowl is a personal favorite because it’s versatile, filling, and delicious.

If we are being honest, my children don’t exactly love my Greek Chicken Meatball Bowls as seen above. One doesn’t like tomatoes and the other could do without the pickled onions. I, however, could eat both bowls on repeat! The best part about this recipe is the only ‘must have’ is the greek chicken meatballs themselves. The rest of the ingredients are up to you – so the recipe is kid-friendly and kid-approved.
Easy Greek Chicken Meatball Bowl Recipe
The first time I heard of this dish from my friend and podcast co-host Kallie. We were talking about easy dinners and she said Greek Chicken Meatball Bowls are the way to go. Kallie bakes the meatballs during weekend meal prep and assembles the dish for dinner a later time in the week.
Greek Chicken Meatballs take less than 45 minutes to prep, roll, and bake. I always serve a few meatballs over cooked long grain white rice, steamed Jasmine rice, or cooked orzo. After surrounding the meatballs with one of the add-ons* below, I drizzle either Greek dressing or Tzatziki sauce on top. A sprinkle of Trader Joe’s Green Goddess seasoning blend and squeeze of fresh lemon juice makes the dish complete.
*Add any (or all) of the following: diced cucumber, diced tomato, kalamata olives, pickled red onions, Tzatziki sauce, feta crumbles, freshly chopped mint, freshly chopped parsley, fresh dill, dried oregano, mixed greens, diced red onion, etc.
