This year I’ll be sharing my 2020 Top 5 from the blog, Instagram, and more!
At the end of every year I like to write a recap of our adventures from January to December. Since 2020 was a more eventful than any year in the past, I already documented the big events. Let’s take a peek at my Top 5 Highs, Lows, and posts from around the web!
My Top 5 of 2020
Highs
- Testing negative for Covid
- Meeting my nephew Dylan for the first time
- Celebrating in Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket (safely!)
- Our trip to LA for the BlogHer Health Summit plus photoshoot in Santa Monica Beach (before Coronavirus)
- Signing on to my biggest partnership for CHB ever! See here for a hint.
Lows
- Testing Postive for Covid-19 (if you’re new around here I was hit HARD by the virus)
- Losing my Uncle in September and my Grandpa in May
- Discovering Skin Cancer on my face
- PTSD after Covid
- Numerous cancelled holidays + trips with the ones I love most (there were a lot – including Christmas)
ONE LAST HIGH…
Despite numerous days where I felt sad, scared, or alone- there were MORE days where I felt happy, joyful, and hopeful. Life has not stopped (even when it felt like it could). In 2020 I am learning the only way out of the difficult stuff is always THROUGH. Bonus: I really focused a lot on finding HUMOR in the chaos of 2020. Laughter has been a key to all of our survival.

Such a fun roundup from 2020! I need to take the time to do this, too – especially with the popular blog posts. Interesting!
These are some really great highs and lows for 2020. It was a pretty crappy year overall with all the social distancing and having to mask up. I sure hope all that nonsense will go away soon! Sounds like you had an amazing year!
It was so awesome reading your highs, not so fun hearing about the lows, but I’m hoping for an awesome 2021 for you!
