Hiring a vacation photographer has always been my dream since I’m rarely in photos and always behind the camera. While visiting Los Angeles, Brandon and I were offered an opportunity to work with Flytographer.
What is Flytographer?
If you’ve not heard of Flytographer yet, they are an online marketplace that connects travelers with professional photographers. The incredibly genius business was founded by former high tech marketing manager, Nicole Smith, in 2013 after she noticed the need for vacation photographers. Flytographer has built a community of hundreds of photographers on every continent (except Antarctica).

How Does Flytographer Work?
Planning a trip? The concierge team at Flytographer will work closely with you before your vacation to book the right photographer at the perfect location. We had the privilege of working with Bree, an incredibly talented local California photographer who knew Santa Monica Beach inside and out.
Our photo shoot was one hour long from beginning to end. Bree was kind, funny, and made Brandon and I feel very comfortable. She showed us where to stand and gave great directions for the perfect shot.
Flytographer sends your professional photo album via email within 5 business days from your shoot. You can then download each high quality picture or the entire album or purchase the prints from their site.
Use code CAITLIN50 for $50 off your Flytographer session from now until the end of the year (12/31/2020).
Why did you take photos alone?!
Since I was in California for a blog related conference, I was excited to have Bree take professional photos for CHB. I like to update my blog marketing materials every few months and our session happened at the right time. When it comes to photos of myself, I prefer a professional behind the camera instead of using my tripod and camera timer.
Thank you Flytographer for partnering with Caitlin Houston Blog. We are very grateful to have so many special moments captured from our getaway!
