Why You Should Take Professional Family Photos

Life is short which is a special reason why you should take professional family photos to memorialize chapters of your life.

I’ve always been a huge fan of professional photos. If I had thought of it earlier in my relationship with Brandon, I would have hired a professional to take our photos. I was able to convince Brandon to take engagement photos, wedding photos, and one-year anniversary photos. After that – it was not until we had Annabelle that I could get him back in front of a camera. Here are some of my favorite professional photos of our family over the years.

Engagement, Wedding Day, Morning After Photos

Not many people take morning after their wedding day photos. However, the morning after a wedding is so romantic and special. I am SO excited our photographers suggested this day after the wedding professional photo session. We truly cherish these extra professional photos from our wedding.

One Year Anniversary Professional Photos

Anniversary photos are fun to take, especially one year after you are married. A professional photographer takes high quality photos you can frame and hang in your home. I love seeing how much Brandon and I have grown and changed in just one year after getting married!

Newborn Photo Session/ New Family Photos

I always tell my new parent friends to schedule professional newborn and family photos. Life is chaotic and messy after a baby is born. However, with a newborn photo shoot you will always have perfect photos of the new baby.

Babies change so much so fast, so it is nice to be able to look back at professional photos of Annabelle over the first few years of her life.

I am now learning how to use my own camera and tripod to take professional photos of my family. We save money by taking our own photos every few months and reserve once a year to take professional family photos with a photographer. The benefits of professional family photos is that they connect our lives through milestones.
