Another week is over and I’m celebrating my Friday Favorites. From a first birthday to simple mom outfits to a big sale, enjoy the best of this week!
one. one year ago.
*cue tears* Where did time go? I’m still feeling phantom baby kicks as Ailey says, “Bye Bye” going down for a nap… I tell ya, the second child gets older so much faster than the first did.
35 weeks pregnant
two. first birthday prep.
I am on the verge of a panic attack because Ailey turns 11 months tomorrow and her first birthday party is less than a month away and I have done nothing. Both my sister’s have had baby/wedding showers to plan and baby/wedding prep to be done, so there hasn’t been time to focus on the party. I’m trying to get things started now, but I’m going to be rushing. #secondchildprobs
three. the return of simple mom outfits.
Did you see yesterday? My Simple Mom Outfits posts are back! Annabelle had to make a little appearance (of course) and I will be doing weekly posts again. I can’t wait to post all the outtakes from my photo session with Elizabeth Grant Photography because guys – taking styled/fashion photos is so hard and I’m not a model.
four. Zella vs. Lululemon
If you own a pair of Lululemon leggings, then I’m sure you know what I mean when I said ILOVELULU4LYFE. They are so buttery smooth and suck your body in tight like no other. Plus they also have new designs and patterns sucking you in for another pair. However, the price point on their clothing is rather high. Well – Zella – have you heard of them? They’re sold at Nordstrom and I’ve heard more about this brand in the last year than I have in my entire life (#FashionBloggersLOVEZella).
Funny thing though, my Mom bought me a pair of Zella leggings two Christmases ago and I’ve loved them ever since. I’ve just been so Lulublinded that I haven’t spent any time perusing Zella’s stuff. … Times are a changing though, and I think my husband would prefer I spend money on Zella vs. Lulu.
P.S. Lululemon is actually having a secret sale… shhhh.
five. Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.
I know I know… EVERYONE is talking about this huge sale. If you’re a Nordstrom cardholder, then you’ve probably already bought the items you love. I am, however, not a cardholder. So I’ve been keeping track of what I’d like to buy on Pinterest. Out of everything I’ve saved, I will probably buy 2-3 things. What are you buying in the sale?
