Welcome to the third to last day of February and a few Weekly Favorites! This week felt extremely long, so I’m giving Friday a big hug for finally arriving. Here are some things I’m loving this week.
A Day in the Life
This week I shared a real unedited peek at my entire day over on the CHB Instagram account. It was a quite tedious task to record my day to day adventures, but in the end I was excited to share it with you all! The stories are saved in my Highlights – check it out here!

A Mini Home Decor Refresh
I usually transition my home decor from winter to Valentine’s Day, but this year I’ve skipped right from winter to spring. We had a lot going on around Valentine’s Day and the decorations never made it upstairs from the basement. WELL, this week I spent a lot of time putting away all of the winter decorations and putting out neutral spring decor. This mini home decor refresh is a work in progress, but coming along nicely.
Want to know a secret? A lot of my home decor is from Goodwill or many years old from our first home. I love to go thrifting for unique shelf decor – like milk glass vases and green glass bottles. Old books and baskets are another favorite home decor find at the thrift store. I’m currently on the hunt for an antique clock, a collection of sea glass (a lofty wish), and distressed wood decor.
I’ll be sharing a full home tour of my spring decorations in a few weeks when I’ve finished the main rooms in my house.
Inexpensive Spring Home Decor
When my thrifting excursions fail I like to purchase inexpensive seasonal decorations, such as faux plants. If you’re looking for inexpensive spring home decor – look no further than the pictures below. I found comparable items to those that I’ve thrifted or purchased over the last few years. Click any picture below to shop the spring decorations under $30.
