It has been a while since I have shared my February Friday Favorites. Most of these posts now arrive in the form of a newsletter lately, but this week I decided to do both. Today I’m sharing a bit of what I’m loving this February!
Snow Snow Snow
There is nothing more I love than snow during the winter. If the days are cold and dry with nothing on the ground but grass – then I’d rather not be outside. Whenever it snows (and we can get into town) we like to visit Gaetano’s Tavern for dinner at their window table. After some crummy news yesterday, I was happy to spend a few hours forgetting about it all with my family.

Taking Time to Breathe
The last few weeks have been particularly difficult for our family. As I look for ways to stay grounded, as well as moments to breathe, I’m always excited when something finds me instead. In this case, a Friday Favorite was a facial!
The Nail and Wax Room is a beautiful mini spa located in downtown Wallingford offering skin and nail care by licensed, certified Estheticians and Nail Technicians. The owner of the spa invited me in this week for a customized facial and it was one of the best and most relaxing facials I’ve ever had!
