The Lodge at Woodloch Spa Resort

Vacation with children can be exhausting, which is why Woodloch Pines Resort offers spa services for adults at The Lodge at Woodloch. While visiting Woodloch Pines Resort in the Pocono Mountains with my family this year, I had the privilege of sneaking away for a little “me time.” Looking for details about my visit? Here is my review of the luxury Poconos spa and my experience with the signature Lodge Facial.

A morning at the The Lodge spa

After checking into The Spa Concierge, I changed into a bathrobe and spa sandals. Then I was directed to a serene lounge to wait for my appointment. There is hot tea, cool water, and snacks to enjoy by the roaring fireplace or while relaxing on a chaise lounge.

I tried to snap a picture inside the treatment room before my facial but the lights were dim. I was also hurrying to get on the comfy treatment table under the heated blankets. My Aesthetician asked a thorough series of questions about my skin before she started the facial. Then she described the details of the Lodge Facial I was going to receive.

The Lodge Facial lasts 50 minutes and begins with an in-depth skin analysis of my skin. I now know my skin is very dehydrated! The Lodge Facial is the perfect treatment as it focuses on hydrating your skin.

During the Lodge Facial, a botanical enzyme peel of sweet cherry exfoliated while profoundly effective serums deeply repaired and hydrated my skin. IT WAS AMAZING!

After the Lodge Facial my skin felt incredibly smooth and refreshed. In addition to the facial, I also received a scalp, arm, and foot massage. I was so relaxed I could have fallen asleep during my treatment. After all spa treatments you are led to relaxation areas.

The Lodge has 27 Treatment Rooms for customized face and body treatments and Private Men’s and Women’s Spa Retreats. Each “Retreat” room offers signature private shower/changing rooms, saunas, steam rooms, and whirlpools. If you and your significant other want to relax together, there is a Co-ed Whisper Lounge with a fireplace and an outdoor porch with rocking chairs too.

I hope to return to the Lodge at Woodloch with my husband someday in the near future. The luxury adult-only Poconos spa offers a unique selection of expert body treatments, massages, facials, and salon services designed to create heightened levels of relaxation and well-being. With the option for customized spa treatments for two, I believe Brandon and I could enjoy a soothing, healing and romantic experience.
