As a Mom who spend a lot of time on her feet, I’m always looking to be comfy, yet stylish. I wear a lot of ballet flats since they’re fashionable and easy to put on. This spring I’ve found the best ballet flats for Moms called Tieks by Gavrieli. In my opinion, you can’t put a price on an item you could wear everyday that provides physical comfort. Many pairs of ballet flats in my closet are more than a few years old, but in great condition because they are well-made with premium leather.

OK, these look amazing, but my cheap self is having trouble with the price tag! Do they ever do sales?
They donโt do sales unfortunately. BUT I will say, I am one of the thriftiest people and Tieks are worth it. My feet are super sensitive and about 5 years ago I bought my first pair. Since then Iโve grown my collection to 8 pairs and they are all I ever wear! My first pair still look brand new and are comfy as ever. I prefer these over sneakers when going in long walks lol
Last month they were giving teachers $50 off. Signed up, never got the offer.
No they donโt. However I am a true believer and you get what you pay for! These are definitely worth the cost!
Hi, Lisa! I am 76 years old. I can tell you Tieks are worth every penny! Iโm actually getting ready to order another pair. My first pair was the black matte. I broke them in at home for a few days. That was over a year ago and they are *the* most comfortable shoes I own. My daughter gave me the plaid for Christmas last year and Iโm ordering the striped next. Treat yourself! They are one of the best investments you will make for your comfort. I wear them with leggings; jeans; skirts and shorts in the Summer. Have to place my order now! Enjoy! And, Merry Christmas!
I’m agonizing over sizing. I want to be able to try on and compare (I have finicky feet). I wonder if there’s any place to try them on. (I don’t want to order one pair, return for another, ask for the first ones back etc.)
So I felt the same way! Iโm a 9.5 most of the time soo I ordered a 9 like they said to do but when I got them they were quite uncomfortable, I emailed them and asked how to exchange them for a larger size and with no problem they sent me another pair with a return label so I could return whichever ones didnโt work. I really appreciated how they let me have both to compare.
Tieks are not all that comfortable. Are they cute? Yes, are they comfy with a high arch? No. I have found Rothyโs to be much more comfortable for long day wearing and they are washable.

I got two pair of tracks that were new from the yard sale the 7 1/2 my toes go right to the edge the edge it my toes are fine but they slip some on the heel is there anything I can do? Also I consider my toes to be of average length and the top of the shoe comes right to where my toes meet my foot . I absolutely love my Tieks. I am a teacher and mom, so Iโm always on my feet. Tieks are the first pair of shoes that my feet and back donโt hurt at the end of the day. Yes, they are hard to stomach the price tag, but they are an investment in yourself. I have donated all my other flats since I got my first pair of Tieks. I would highly recommend these for everyone! I wear them for teaching all day and date nights!

Why wouldnโt you just say โbest ballet flats.โ Period. Why for โmomsโ? What if Iโm not a mom? Are they not perfect for me? What if I am a mom and I donโt like the look? Would they still be perfect? This type of marketing is not appropriate towards women. Which Iโm pretty sure is your target audience. (Unless you are only trying to sell to moms) and in that case, keep up the good work.

My experience with Tieks has been a disappointment. I have worn them to work for 2 weeks and the leather has a worn spot and the sole of one has a broken spot. I usually buy less expensive shoes yet don’t have problems like this. I hope the company will replace my money.

Personally, I have horrible bunions but these do not rub mine. Theyโre actually very comfortable for me. And have always had issues with shoes because of my bunions. So I guess rubbing is on a case by case basis. Maybe Iโve just lived with bunions (since childhood) for most of my life, I donโt notice it with these. But there are a lot of shoes that rub mine pretty bad. The Michael Kors moccasins are the worst for me. Ouch!

Please give some advice on sizing. My feet are very narrow . In American size I wear an 8 1/2 narrow. Even then the heels sometimes are not slim enough. Can Tieks fit me? Thanks.

How do you clean these?
I clean mine with โmr. leatherโ leather cleaner. It works like a charm and also protects the leather from a little bit of water. NOW you canโt jump in puddles or walk in downpour rain but I have quick run to my car and my tieks were fine.

I had no luck with these shoes. I tried to โbreakโ them in according to instructions sent to me after experiencing incredible pain. Oh how I wanted them to work for me, but nothing worked. I developed a red bump on the side of my left foot.
I finally gave up and realized I might as well have thrown this money away.
Just FYI: I purchased a much cheaper rival. I took them out of the box and still cannot believe how comfortable they feel on my feet. I now own 4 pair of brand X and plan to buy more!
Happy for those of you who love Tieks, but they are not for everyone.
I bought my tieks a size bigger and they are very tight on my feet. They hurt real bad I’ve tried to stretch them n it’s not helping. I’m going to Italt and wanted to take them but it seems like I’m out of all this money for these tight shoes smh!!!!
My matte black pair took a week to break in. Heated them with a hairdryer to help stretch the leather. Then while they were warm I put on a pair of fuzzy slipper socks and walked in them for a day in the house…yes I looked absolutely ridiculous, but I have to say this worked well for me. The meek week I had business in nyc and walked over 125,000 steps that week and the year were so comfortable and no blisters either.
Sorry I can’t afford these shoes! Look nice but will have to past

I just bought my first pair of Tieks. I wear a size 8 and thatโs the size I purchased. Iโve only worn them once and the tip of my big toes hurt afterwards and thought maybe I shouldโve ordered a 9. These are so cute! Right now I have kidnapped my daughter’s crocs and, in my opinion, they are not cute at all! But the comfort is the best I have found. I need something cute and comfy. I’ve always sacrificed and gone for the latter.
I have one pair only but on mine i noticed that on my right shoe it hurts my first toe as it curbs around ..its tight right there only ..therefore i can NOT wear them longer than maybe 15-20 minutes before i am in pain ..i did try to straighten them just on the one shoe only but nope it did not work.. I really love them but whats the use having a pair if you cannot wear them

Iโve ordered Tieks twice because theyโre adorable, but sent them back both times. The tops of the heels is the problemโtheyโre too high and rub the back of my heels. Iโd say theyโre about a quarter inch higher than other shoes. If I could solve that problem, I would buy several pairs. I keep hoping the design will change.
