While my family in New England curses the snow that is still falling from the sky, we are taking big gulps of the beautiful Spring air here in the South. It’s funny to think that even though this is Annabelle’s “second” Spring of her life, this is the first Spring season she is really aware of. She absolutely LOVES flowers… and yells every time she sees one. She likes to delicately touch the petals and imitate her Mommy when I sniff the sweet smell of nectar.
Over the weekend we headed to middle Tennessee to visit Annabelle’s Grandparents and Great Grandparents. While we were there, B’s Mom brought us to the most incredible daffodil field I have ever seen. Annabelle went crazy, running through the flowers and touching every petal she could get her hands on. Unfortunately, it was very windy, so it was hard to capture the joyful expressions on Annabelle’s face.
Has Spring started where you live?

Spring is definitely here in Utah, but it’s been here since mid-February and a little bi-polar. One week it’ll be int he 70s, then the next the 50s, then 30-40s and raining, then back up to 70s and over and over again! Utah just can’t make up its mind!

Your daughter looks very lovely. She really looks like she’s enjoying the flowers around her. Spring does sound like a great weather for you (I love the summer time). You have a beautiful family.
