Our Friday Favorites include Annabelle’s ballet class, an update on Ailey, and my favorite girls’ beds from Pottery Barn kids.
one. tiny ballerina.
Annabelle had her first REAL ballet class this week and for real… I think this is going to be her jam. She hung onto her dance teacher’s every word like it was the most important thing she had ever heard. I’ve never seen her pay attention to something or someone so well!! Now give me all the leotards and tutus.
two. spaghetti squash.
I. Am. Addicted. Spaghetti squash in the crockpot is SO stinkin’ easy and so delicious I just can’t get enough. I found the recipe on All Day I Dream About Food, but make my own meatballs – either turkey or chicken.
three. little girl beds.
I know that someday, before I would like, Ailey will need a big girl little girl bedroom. For some reason, I envision her in a room with flowers and rich, but dark colors. And as for Annabelle – she is sleeping in a teeny tiny twin bed right now and I just know she would do anything for a Princess-y bed like this:
Both bedroom sets are from Pottery Barn Kids. Both bedroom sets are WAY out of our price range.
four. fancy pants.
My sister’s bachelorette party is in a few months in Washington, D.C. and I’m already on the prowl for some fun outfits. Ever since I tried on a jumpsuit back in December for Brandon’s company Christmas party, I’ve wanted one. I saw a backless jumpsuit on Lulus, but I don’t think I could pull it off with my breastfeeding boobs. We will see what I can come up with!
five. vegan mac n cheese.
When I was at Whole Foods last weekend, I grabbed a box of Annie’s Vegan Mac n Cheese with the hopes that it would satisfy my cheesy cravings. As I mixed the powdered cheese into the noodles, I almost gagged.
It was BROWN. But then I peeked back at the box and saw that the cheese is made with pumpkin and sweet potato, so I took a bite. OMG it is so good! Is it bad I could’ve eaten the entire pot by myself?
six. the girls.
I can’t forget to include my sweet girls on my Friday Favorites. These two have been helping me through what I think might be a little bit of PPD – their smiles, giggles, and love for one another are a bit of sunshine on the cloudiest of days.
And let me just leave you with this… because it’s practically the weekend.
Linking up with A Smidge of This, Sept. Farm, and Momfessionals.
