Did anyone wake up and do a little dance for Friday’s arrival? I was hoping for warmer weather, but it looks like chilly temperatures are here to stay for the next few days. This week my favorites have been spring shoes, a television show, a new craft cocktail bar, and camera shopping. What are your Friday Favorites?
Spring Shoes
My go-to shoes this spring are currently on repeat, even though the weather isn’t really permitting a few pairs. I usually only buy one new pair of shoes a season, but this year I needed to refresh my shoe closet. I’m still on the hunt for a perfect pair of wedges, as my go-to TOMS are looking a little worn. What are you favorite spring shoes?
The Handmaid’s Tale.
Blessed be the fruit. We are still a few weeks away, but one of my favorite shows is returning to Hulu for Season Two. Does anyone else have April 25th circled on their calendars?
Craft Cocktails and Pad Thai at Conspiracy
Last night I went to Conspiracy in Middletown, CT – a craft cocktail bar inspired by the speak-easy era. The drink and food menu is adventurous – who would ever think to order a to-go box of Shrimp Pad Thai while sipping on an Apple Brandy Green Tea Punch (served in a tea cup)? The Pad Thai at Conspiracy is the BEST Pad Thai I have ever had – spicy, nutty, delicious. I am hosting a Connecticut Blogger Brunch at Conspiracy on Earth Day to promote their new spring menu and I’m so excited!
Camera Shopping
One of my Friday Favorites is a NEW CAMERA. For the last few days I’ve been online camera shopping, since my current camera is a loaner and even though my Canon Rebel T3 has treated me well, she is moving on to a new owner. Based on the advice and suggestions I’ve received from my fellow bloggers and IG followers, my current camera options are: Canon Rebel T6i/T7i, Canon Powershot G7 X Mark II, or Sony a6000. Which one should I buy?

A Newport Hotel Review
Did you see my review of Gilded Hotel in Newport, Rhode Island? I had a fabulous stay last week with my girl friend, Beth, and can’t wait to share a travel guide to Newport with you next week.
I’m off to start the day, but very excited for a fun weekend ahead. Tomorrow we are trying out BAR in New Haven and Sunday we are attending a private family event for the Red Sox! I am hoping to take some time to write a few blog posts, take photos for a couple upcoming sponsored posts, AND buy a new camera. How are you spending your weekend?

I am planning on purchasing those gold sandals! Definitely have spring shoe staples and those will be one of mine! I also have really wanted to watch Handmaids Tale but don’t currently have Hulu! Currently my husband and I are watching Series of Unfortunate events because the latest season just came out on Netflix!
