This is my 20 week bump update with my pregnancy symptoms revealed, as well as a photo of my 20 week baby bump.
How far along: 20 weeks 3 days – OFFICIALLY HALFWAY TO MEETING BABY GIRL!
Baby Size: The doctor says she is right on track for a 20 week old. She is 11 1/2 ounces – a butternut squash – and apparently the length of a banana.
Total weight gain: 12 pounds. Is it muscle from working out? Or the opposite from eating candies? Whatever it is, it’s just a number!
Movement: She moves!! Multiple times a day – it feels like little heart beats or taps to say, “Hello!”
Sleep: I don’t have any real issues with sleep these days – just the annoying middle of the night bathroom break.
Cravings/Aversions: Reason number 1000000000 my mom is amazing – she sent me PIEROGIS! Craving satisfied!
Varicose Vein – I am using Lemongrass essential oils on my vaginal varicose vein and I don’t know if it is in my head or what, but it really helps for a few hours after I apply it to the swollen area. Scram Troubles – the Prenatal Chiropractor is helping to adjust my Sacram, for it is not rotating correctly. And my hips are jammed, so she is working on them. I definitely feel better for a few days after my adjustment, but not 100% yet. Acne – the gross backne is BACK. Weird skin- dark circles under my eyes, red splotches on my forehead, and bumps all over my chest. Where is this glow?! Hello Heartburn – Thank goodness for Zantac (when it works) – but my love for coffee is being squashed with all the heartburn.
Exercise: Flywheel wears me out so much that I can’t do much else – other than stretch – on my days off! My sister’s wedding is in May and I really want to work on my upper body, but by the time I get home from work, I’m too exhausted to do anything.
Mood: Really trying to be more positive. I repeat to myself daily that I am lucky to have a growing healthy baby girl in my belly.
Miss Anything: The absence of acid reflux/heartburn.
Best Moment this week: The doctor telling us we can finally breathe – for Baby H 2.0 is HEALTHY and perfect.
Looking forward to: I’m on spring break this week and I am excited to nest a little bit. We have quite a few closest that need organizing!
Here I am 20 weeks pregnant with Annabelle. Definitely bigger this time around – and not craving cheeseburgers and Easy Mac.
