Looking for Thanksgiving outfit inspiration? Here are some suggestions on what to wear on Thanksgiving.

What to Wear on Thanksgiving
Whether I dress up or down, comfort is key when I sit at the table for our Thanksgiving feast. I usually wear a skirt and sweater, but change into stretchy pants post-Thanksgiving dinner. One outfit you will not find is anything with jeans – hard pants and a heavy meal do not go together! Over the last few weeks I’ve put together my favorite Thanksgiving outfits and am sharing ideas of what to wear on Thanksgiving with you today.
Thanksgiving Maxi Skirt Outfit
I talk about my love for the pleated skirt a lot because it’s a versatile piece to have in your closet. The slip skirt is another option if you don’t like pleats (as seen below). A maxi skirt allows one to wear whatever they want on top – sweater, shirt, tank, sweatshirt. You can get very creative with a maxi skirt on Thanksgiving.

Pregnant on Turkey Day? Thanksgiving Maternity Outfits
Are you pregnant on Thanksgiving? There are so many cute ways to dress up your bump on Turkey Day! Try a pencil skirt – styled three different ways (click here to see examples). Looking for more fall maternity outfit ideas? Here are some comfortable outfits to wear while pregnant on Thanksgiving.

Casual and Comfortable Thanksgiving Outfits
It’s always acceptable to dress in a casual comfortable Thanksgiving outfit. The Hailee Cardi Set is my go-to when I want to feel stylish but also casual. You can wear the cardigan with anything, but a pair of flare leggings takes it to the next level.
Free People makes my favorite chic sweater sets because you can wear each piece multiple ways. If Free People is out of your price range, there are a few dupes that are just as cute.

Fall Dresses for Thanksgiving
There are countless fall dresses you can wear on Thanksgiving. I was excited to try out this dress brand ON SALE a few years ago and still love to throw them on! There are so many easy to wear dresses that can accommodate a belly full of turkey and pie.

Thanksgiving Pajamas
What if on Thanksgiving we all decide to NOT get dressed up? I wouldn’t mind a Thanksgiving pajama party – especially if we were in matching Thanksgiving family pajamas.

I’m all about comfort when it comes to dressing for Thanksgiving! I love all these outfit ideas! It’s good mixture of cute and comfort!

I’m we are a comfy and casual family but we like to still look nice. I always try to stick to autumn colors, browns, deep reds, orange. Definitely stick to jeans, corduroy or leggings with snugglie comfy sweater. I have zero clue what I will be wearing this year lol Hapoy Thanksgiving everyone!
I was thinking today about what to wear on Thanksgiving. I really liked the J Crew sweaters you were modeling. There is nothing like a turtleneck in colder weather. But I love the navy ruffle hem top you paired with the plaid skirt. A PJ Thanksgiving sounds fun. I will have to wait until my In Laws leave to slip into some cozy PJs. I think I will go with some lounge pants and top. I am great full I have a choice, not just 1 option. Some comfort will be important as I am doing all the cooking.
All of them are cute and cozy looks. Any outfit that allows you to eat your heart out is a winner 🙂
I cook the turkey so I usually where something “dadcore” while cooking and then change in to something nicer… and then immediately in to pajamas
I love how you included the pajamas! My family is doing a “cozy” thanksgiving this year so that is my outfit of choice! Haha!
These are all such cute outfit ideas! I think #3 is my favorite.
You look amazing! These are all such great ideas! My favorite would have to be the red skirt!
