Thank you so much for the well wishes on our big news! Selling our first home is surely an emotional time for all of us… especially Annabelle who doesn’t quite understand how someone else could sleep in her ballerina bedroom. We don’t really know what’s going to happen next, so for everyone asking – I’ll tell ya when I know myself.
Our One Year Old
We had a great weekend watching Ailey figure out this walking thing. She isn’t on the move just yet, but she has taken enough steps for her to realize there is more to life than crawling. We are all doomed because she already crawls faster than I can run.
I’m totally going to be the Mom with a leash for her child from here on out.
Clearly my Mom has no problem wrangling her…
Birthday Party
We received the birthday party photos from my girl Beth on Friday and I’m beyond obsessed. I’ll be posting about her big day in installments so I can share everything from the details to the lunch menu to all the cuteness. Ailey’s first birthday party was such an amazing day and I’m so happy I had Beth there to take photos!
Waiting on Sloane
In case anyone was wondering… my sister’s official due date is tomorrow and as of now, Sloane doesn’t seem like she is ready to come out yet. I feel like I’m reliving my last days of pregnancy with Ailey every moment I spend with Lizzie. She is noticeably more calm than I was at the end and SO much more pleasant. We all can’t wait to meet little Sloane, but no one is ready to serve her an eviction notice yet!
This whole Eclipse thing…
Yah I know it’s a huge deal but I am not risking my eyesight or my children’s eyesight to stand outside and stare at the sun! Anyone else waiting to watch it on tv?

Love that top! I saw it on IG and thought it was so pretty! And it amazes me how grandmas have everything totally under control – they are life savers for sure! My mom was visiting one weekend and had a chat with my almost 3 year old about his accidents and we haven’t been in pull ups since. Seriously!
