Every Monday when I sit down to write my Weekend Recap I can’t believe it’s happening again so soon. With with our friends visiting from Georgia, we had a fun filled busy weekend. In addition to entertaining our guests, I also spoke on an Influencer panel. Here is my October weekend recap and what’s coming ahead this week.
How to Spend a Weekend in Connecticut
Every time we have out of state guests visit, we make a list of the best things to do in Connecticut. From pizza to leaf peeping to brewery visits, there are a lot of must-dos during the fall in Connecticut. On Friday we took the train to one of Connecticut’s best pizza restaurants, Pepe’s Pizza in New Haven. The White Clam Pizza is one of their signature pies!
Brandon brought our friends to Counterweight and Tree House Brewing to sample the famous local beer while I attended my event. Saturday night was spent at home with more pizza from Michael’s Trattoria, another amazing restaurant in Connecticut. Our final must have for Connecticut: Neil’s Donuts, for delicious homemade breakfast sandwiches on the best bagels in Wallingford.
Influencer Panel at New Haven Free Public Library
I am still in awe I was invited to sit on an Influencer Panel at the New Haven Free Public Library on Saturday. I spoke alongside my friend Kallie and new friends Charlotte and Neivy about how to make money using social media.
Side note: I received a lot of questions about my outfit above. My shirt is by Grayson, a women owned business designing the most comfortable shirt with the power-woman in mind. Definitely check out Grayson!
A Connecticut Fall Evening at Terrain
Speaking of power women, on Tuesday I went to a fun event in Westport at Terrain. My friend Jaimee is starting an Experiential & Influencer Marketing business, so she put together an evening out for Connecticut bloggers and business owners to showcase her skills. I had so much fun mingling with friends and meeting new people!
I can’t believe October is almost over! This month was so busy that I feel it went by in a flash. I have a few deadlines to meet this week, my first dance class in 9 years, and prepping for our anniversary trip to Portland next weekend. Plus, Halloween is on Thursday and we have a Trick-or-Treating date with the whole neighborhood! Have a great week!

Enjoyed reading the recap. The pizza sounds great! Will hopefully get a chance to go there. Some days there is nothing like a good pizza.
