How are we over halfway through November? Life lately has been so busy with fall events and decorating for the holidays! It always takes us at least a week to decorate our home and I like everything to be complete before we bring in a real Christmas tree after Thanksgiving. Which by the way I can’t believe Thanksgiving is this week! Here is a little bit of what’s been going on in my life lately. Enjoy!

A Fall Gathering with Xfinity
There is nothing I love more than working with a brand who enjoys bringing the community together. I’ve not only been a longtime customer with Xfinity, but they’re also one of my brand partners (see my posts here)! Last summer I was part of a New England Self Care virtual event with Xfinity and while it was so fun, we couldn’t wait to do something together in person. The Xfinity stores are not your average store – they are warm, inviting, bright and beautiful!
I’m SO excited that this week I was able to host an in-person event at the Xfinity store in Plainville, CT! My family, friends, and followers enjoyed light bites and refreshments upon their arrival from Emily’s Catering. Then they collected supplies for an At Home S’mores Kit by visiting demonstration areas for Xfinity Mobile, Xfinity Internet, and Xfinity X1. The Xfinity Experts are so kind and friendly! It was so interesting to discover a few guests (and already Xfinity customers) were not aware of some amazing features offered with their services. For example, did you know you can manage your children’s internet usage with the xFi features in the Xfinity app on your phone?!
Another fun feature of the event occurred at the Xfinity Rewards station. Guests were able to spin the Xfinity wheel to win a prize and fill out a survey to enter a raffle for an outdoor smokeless fire pit and outdoor projector. Finally before we said goodbye, all of my guests collected their Swag Bag featuring a winter beanie, portable bluetooth speaker, local Maple Syrup, a hand-poured soy candle and homemade goat’s milk soap.
Thank you so much to all of the small businesses who contributed to the event! And a special Thank You to Xfinity for being one of my favorite brand partners. If you wanted to attend but couldn’t make it – I hope to host another gathering next Spring at the North Haven store!

More Life Lately in November
Life with three kids is … well it just is. Between a destructive Arbor, an energetic Kindergarten Ailey, and our 8 going on 15 Annabelle, there is never a dull moment in our home. I am looking forward to making lots of memories this holiday season with the girls and especially seeing how they interact together. I still can’t believe one year ago we were still a family of four waiting for Arbor to arrive and now she is 11 months old!

13 Years Married and The 1975 Concert
Brandon and I finally celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary just a few weeks late. We started our date night with dinner at Liv’s Oyster Bar in Old Saybrook. It was our first time and really delicious! Then we drove to Mohegan Sun to see one of our favorite bands: The 1975. I can honestly say it was one of the BEST concerts I’ve ever been too. Aside from being excited to hear songs I love in person, I could not get over the house on the stage and the band’s theatrical performance!
