I had already done a simple post for today – but once I saw this link-up on Today Was a Fairytale I decided I had to participate. The topic is: In-Laws.
I have always felt very fortunate for having not one, but two sets of in-laws that are supportive, caring, funny, and amazing. I’ve known my husband’s parents for about 10 years now and since the day we met, I have always felt loved.
B is very lucky to have two amazing sets of parents, plus all of their extended family members in his life. I feel like I have so many more aunts and uncles, cousins, and grandparents than I could ever hope for and I am very thankful of this. Each and every one of them have always made me feel like I am a part of their family (even before we were married).
Both sets of in-laws are SO excited about our baby on the way. Neither have been grandparents before, so our baby will be the first grandchild on B’s side of the family. It was so fun telling them about it – everyone was so surprised! (I’ll post all about how we told our families another day – I am still waiting on pictures).
I know my MILs are just waiting to find out if it is a boy or a girl so they can start shopping.
That baby is gonna be so spoiled lol so many grandparents!

This is a cute link-up! I hope that when I find the love of my life, his family is as loving and accepting as your husband’s family sounds! I bet they’re already looking at outfits for both genders. Might even have the clothes for both already! (; So exciting that your baby will be their first grand baby!
Awe, that’s exciting your baby will be their first grandchild! I can’t wait to see how you told them and that’s so wonderful you get not one but two sets of good in-laws!
