Shopping for someone who has it all is so stressful… mainly because every time you think you find the perfect gift, you discover they already own it. If I’m not giving a photo of the girls or whipping up a handmade craft, buying gifts for my in-laws is extremely difficult. At the end of the day, I always tell myself it’s the thought that counts and hope they understand I tried very hard to please them.
Items for the Home
Whether its something personalized, like a cutting board, a festive decanter, silly serving spoons, or a unique lazy susan, buying your in-laws something they can use when entertaining guests is always one of my go-tos.
I also like to consider a gift for the living room, where we usually spend most of our time watching the girls play. I’m loving the following: this beautiful blanket, a soft scented candle, a family tree pillow, or a house shaped log holder for the fireplace.
We don’t own any home technology (yet) but Amazon is having Black Friday specials on the new Echo and Echo Spot which bring Alexa to any room in your house. I secretly want one of these gadgets for myself!
I spent quite some time putting together these gifts that I think any set of in-laws would enjoy. There are items for the entertainers, the coffee drinkers, the alcohol drinkers, the stay at homers, and the travel lovers. What would you add to my list?
