The Secret is Out!!!

The secret is out and I’m so excited to share my big news. I was offered a new job within my Company!!

Hoooraaayyy!!!

I don’t know if I have ever talked about what I do before, but I work for an investment company. While my title was Manager of Marketing and Client Services, I really was an executive assistant to 2 Partners and the Senior VP of Marketing. I also was the office fairy – if someone needed something, they came to me and I got it done before they could say, “Thank you.”

Don’t get me wrong – I loved my position. I loved being able to make people happy on their birthday with their favorite cake and stocking the kitchen with cookies and chips. However – I graduated from college with honors in English Literature, and in my position I wasn’t really making use of my college degree. My new position – which hasn’t officially gained a title – is going to allow me to use my writing and editing skills!! I can’t get into much more detail, but I can say that I am super excited (and completely overwhelmed already – I am still doing my old job at the same time).

I am going to work my hardest and prove to everyone around me that I can do this job – wish me luck!!

P.S. With all of this work I have suddenly accumulated I am going to have to save all my blogging and reading of blogs for nighttime! OR until I get use to the workload!!!
