This morning was quite interesting – there was a crazy wind storm and the power went out at my building. Two hours later we were evacuated because they generators were about to run out and safety regulations said no one could stay in the building. So we all go to leave. Yay!
Happy belated Easter by the way! How was everyone’s weekend? (I haven’t had a chance to catch up on my Google Reader). I had a pretty great weekend…
Friday – Mr. H and I went to the Braves game. It was Opening Day and we were both super excited to celebrate the beginning of the baseball season, despite the black clouds looming in the distance. There was a severe thunderstorm warning for ATL Fri night and during the 3rd inning it hit…HARD. There was thunder, lightening, rain, and hail…and we hid inside with all the other loyal fans. It was kind of fun because the Braves drumline (I forget their name) performed for everyone while we waited for the rain to stop.
Unfortunately during the 2 hour delay, my tummy monster went crazy and I ended up getting sick. Needless to say, I spent the rest of the game sleeping…in the car.
Saturday- I had to get a CATscan on my abdomen and it was no fun. Of course the nurse mutilated my poor arm when she was putting the IV in and I have a big nasty bruise. I haven’t heard anything yet though… I am praying they have some news as to why I have been in so much pain. Mr. H went to the Braves game Saturday night and I had a little ME time. I baked cupcakes, watched Twilight, and ate a whole lotta frosting.
Sunday – We visited the H’s for Easter dinner and I debuted my new Lilly dress! After a lovely dinner with our family we headed to the outlets. I knew they were going to be open for a short amount of time and wanted to pick up some pants for work… HOWEVER I didn’t know only a few stores would be open. I found a great pair of pants at Ralph Lauren though! They are cropped, red, straight leg, and SO CUTE!
