Mr. H’s Birthday Weekend

Yes … you Mr. H… don’t look so surprised that I am dedicating a whole post to your birthday weekend and you don’t even read my blog. You are turning a quarter of a century – you old man! Just kidding. I love you! We have a great weekend ahead of us though, and I am so excited I had to talk about it!!

For starters, tonight I am surprising him with his favorite – Red Velvet Cake – and then taking him on a romantical date to Bone’s where he is going to enjoy a juicy filet and Bone’s Lobster Bisque – and a tasty bottle of wine (or some bourbon, whatever he wants he gets) of course.

I don’t eat red meat, so I may go with one of their yummy fish dishes… like the “Seared Spiced Grouper with fennel slaw and citrus vinaigrette” and a “Fig and Arugula Salad with Walnuts and Goat Cheese” – Mmmmm.

After dinner I may give him one of his gifts…either his new shorts:

Or his gift certificate for an hour long massage at Massage Envy here in ATL!

Tomorrow I am going to wake up early to cook him a ginormous omelett and some hashbrowns. Then we are spending the day at our pool:

Late afternoon we are heading north to the H’s for Brandon’s big birthday dinner!! On Sunday we will have one of Papa H’s super delicious breakfasts and then lay out at the H’s pool!! Mr. H and I went golfing on his birthday last year – so he wants to golf Sunday afternoon! After golf – we will head back to Atlanta to rest up for another long and boring work week. Booo.

Here is Mr. H on his 24th birthday…

I can’t believe I met Mr. H 6 years ago when he was only 18… and now he is turning 25. Time sure flies by…and now May is pretty much over – and our wedding is in less than five months.
