Greetings from Nantucket! Brandon and I are headed to the ferry soon (sad), but I wanted to pop on and share my Friday Favorites before we go. We have had the best anniversary getaway in Cape Cod and Nantucket! I’ll be sharing a detailed post about traveling to both areas on quick overnights next week. In the meantime, here are my Nantucket Friday Favorites.
I didn’t pack any casual shoes for 30 degree weather, so I had to improvise with my camp socks and loafers. Brandon and I joked I looked a little homeless… but chic homeless. I have been living in my Fisherman Tunic from LL Bean since it got cold here in New England. It’s perfect for layering – I am wearing a plaid tunic underneath and a vest on top.
Siasconset Sunset
I cannot even put into words the beauty we witnessed while shooting in Siasconset with Rebecca Love Photography. The sunset was unreal, truly a miracle of nature. I think this sunset is the reason why we decided Nantucket will be where we spend every wedding anniversary from now on!
Speaking of anniversaries… Rebecca took anniversary photos for me and Brandon, but I don’t want to share anything from our shoot just yet! She snapped a few photos of me alone and Brandon captured this behind the scenes shot:
Rebecca is AMAZING – sweet, funny, and talented. She has a little girl who looks just like Ailey and another little girl on the way. She lives in Nantucket and is one of the resident wedding photographers. She showed us the magic of Nantucket and if it were not for her, we would not have seen that sunset!
Cisco Brewery
I have so much to say about Cisco Brewers, but that’s literally a whole blog post and I have a ferry to catch. The tour guide, Kate, snapped this photo of us at the end of the tour. Cisco isn’t just known for their beer on the island, but their Nantucket Vineyards and Tripe Eight Distillery as well. We had a tour of each spot, tasting of all their good stuff and learning the history behind the business. The staff at Cisco treat you like family – they’re warm, friendly, and so fun. If I ever found myself living on this island, I would beg them to let me work at the winery!
76 Main – A Lark Hotel
We stayed the night at 76 Main Nantucket, a Lark Boutique Hotel, right in the hart of downtown. The hotel is within walking distance to all of the amazing shops and restaurants Nantucket has to offer, as well as the ferry. I LOVE Lark Hotels for their concierge services, unique decor, and delicious continental breakfast. We hope to come back and stay again next October for our anniversary!

Have a great weekend everyone!
