The LG Styler Review

Raise your hand if you love products that make your life easier? As a Mom of two busy little girls, I’m always on the lookout for simplifying my duties. One area in which I’m constantly failing is laundry. There are also days when I forget to wash a certain little girls’ favorite dress or blanket. In comes the LG Styler, a machine with countless abilities, all to make Moms (and Dads) smile.

As a busy Mom, there are days when I wear my yoga pants for everything but yoga. The workout pants are worn to sit comfortably at my work desk. When there isn’t any physical activity happening in my athletic clothing, I like to refresh them in the LG Styler. Repeated washings can make athletic clothing feel like they lose elasticity and fade more quickly – so this is a great way to prolong their life.

One must not forget the LG Styler’s Pants Crease Care capabilities. My husband is notorious for leaving work pants hanging in the dry cleaning bag too long. This prolongs creases on fabrics too delicate to iron. The Pants Crease Care option can gently remove the creases in just an hour, leaving his work pants looking new and fresh.

I am extremely allergic to dust and mold, so I use the LG Styler frequently to remove allergens from our household items. We store a lot of linens and seasonal clothing in the basement. The LG Styler is a quick way to refresh them if I don’t have time for a full wash.

If you like the smell of dryer sheets, there is a place to insert one at the back of the styler. Your blankets will smell so fresh afterwards!

The LG Styler is a quick and easy way to deodorize and sanitize your kids stuffed animals

My daughters love to bring their stuffed animals everywhere… the airport, the grocery store, out to eat at a restaurant, etc. The stuffed animals end up dropped on dirty floors almost every time we leave the house. With the LG Styler, I can sanitize the furry friends without ruining their stuffing.

The LG Styler comes with three Styler-specific hangers — two for blouses, jackets, or other tops, and one for hanging pants or skirts. There is also a removable rack, perfect for a delicate sweater, stinky baseball hat, or folded blanket. There is also a dedicated space on the inside of the LG Styler door where you can place your pants to crease/de-wrinkle.

The LG Styler has two water reservoirs. The Water Tank is to be filled for steam cycles (the max fill line can last for up to four cycles). The Drain Tank is meant to be drained after each steam cycle.  I love that a waterline is not required to use the LG Styler, so you can essentially utilize it anywhere in your home or office.  

WONDERING HOW IT ACTUALLY WORKS? THE LG STYLER RUNS ON FOUR MAIN CYCLES:

• The “Refresh” mode, available in Light, Normal and Heavy settings, enlists steam to deodorize and refresh, completely chemical free. The moving hanger vibrates approximately 180 times per minute to help release dust and give your item the ultimate steam treatment. Think of the time and money you save, by not going to the dry cleaner as often!
• The “Sanitary” mode, available in Normal and Heavy settings, adds heat into the equation, which is supposed to kill off allergens like pollen.
• The “Gentle Dry” mode, available in Delicates, Normal and Time Dry settings, simply dries your clothes on a low heat. For example, you can use this mode to dry/reshape your wool sweaters and other shrink-susceptible fabrics. I like to put my delicate undergarments in this mode instead of allowing them to air dry on a rack.
• The “Special Care” mode includes an extended Heavy Sanitary cycle called “Night Care,” and 10 different downloadable custom cycles. Some of the cycles include “Air Fresh,” “Rainy Day” and “Shawls/Neckties.”
