Did anyone else miss my Friday Favorites? The other day an Instagram follower asked why I stopped sharing what I love each week. To be honest, I didn’t think anyone cared. Given that the Nordstrom Annual Sale begins today and EVERYONE is blogging about it – I thought I’d share 5 Friday Favorites that aren’t from Nordstrom.
P.S. I’m sharing my Nordstrom picks later in another post, hah.
Lake Pajamas
Lake Pajamas are comfortable, cute, and my first Friday Favorite. There are some things in life that I can justify spending a great deal of money on. Anything that is high quality and durable is worth the cost in my eyes. Lake Pajamas are definitely a luxury, but sometimes a Mom deserves to treat herself with something nice.
Basin Harbor
My family and I are headed on a mini vacation Sunday to Basin Harbor Hotel & Resort in Vermont. We are SO excited to getaway for four days and spend time together. Basin Harbor is located on Lake Champlain, so there will be lots of boat rides and water activities. I’ll be posting regularly throughout our stay on Instagram, so check back on Sunday.
The St. Anne Tote by Barrington Gifts
I am a big fan of tote style purses because they can hold SO MUCH. Whether I need to carry my daughters’ six princesses and coloring books to dinner or my laptop to a business meeting, a tote holds it all. The St. Anne Tote by Barrington Gifts has been my go-to bag this summer. It’s customizable with different patterns and can be personalized. I’ll be writing more in detail about this gorgeous bag next week… but for now, check it out on your own!
Home Updates
Ever since we bought a home last summer, you’ve all enjoyed following along as we renovate the 1970s Colonial house. Don’t get me wrong, our house was in pristine condition. However, it was outdated and need of some updates. Yesterday I posted 5 Ways to Update an Old House… check it out to see what we’ve done around here.

Framed Art
I’ve FINALLY found artwork to hang above my desk area to admire while I work all day. Thank you to Framed Art for the 1900s map of Cape Cod and the beautiful print: “Influence of Line and Color Gold” by Mike Schick.

Your title caught my eye because you’re right, EVERYONE is sharing their Nordstrom finds this week and it’s refreshing to read something different! That lake looks beautiful! I have family in Vermont but we do not get up there to visit them nearly enough. Your picture is making me want to change that!
