This week’s Friday Favorites come to you from Connecticut where we are visiting my family. Everyone is meeting Ailey for the first time and Annabelle is experiencing an early winter!
one. it’s winter now!
My mom and I hit up the outlets to buy some pjs for the girls and Annabelle decided she NEEDED this winter hat and sweater coat. Granted it is a bit chilly up here compared to home, it’s not quite winter yet… what she kept singing all throughout GAP. “It’s winter now! It feels like winter!”
two. sandy shores.
We took a quick trip to the beach yesterday and could not get Annabelle to leave. She announced (loudly) she wanted to take all of her clothes off and play on the beach…poor thing had to be bribed with Skittles to get back to the car. Hopefully we are going to go back this weekend so she can play for longer.
three. meeting Ailey in October.
Finally having my Dad and siblings meet our little chunkosaurus has been great. I’ve been trying to take pictures of everyone meeting Ailey on our trip – just like I did with her big sister. She’s been a gem since we got here, sleeping all day and keeping me up all night.
My Mom keeps telling me my Grandma used to say to “flip the baby upside down” to get her nights/days schedule corrected. I keep telling my Mom if she flips my baby anywhere I’ll flip her to the moon.
four. twinsies.
I feel like the girls are looking more and more alike every day and it makes my heart oh so happy. Their features are a little different – Annabelle (on the left) has rounder eyes and darker skin.
Both of my little ones are the makers of funny faces, very curious, and very expressive. If Ailey’s personality is anything like her big sister, we are going to have to nonstop talkers and question askers in the house.

But seriously, she needs a bubble romper like this in every color for all of October.
