Oh what a week it has been. Today I’m sharing my Friday Favorites, a few things bringing light into my life as I recover from surgery (read more here). Enjoy these post surgery favorites (some things I’d love on a normal day too)!
Comfort is Key
I do NOT like laying in bed all day, but when I have to – I want to be comfortable. One of my post surgery favorites are my Lake Pajamas. I’ve mentioned Lake Pajamas plenty of times on CHB as a must have because they’re comfortable, breathable, and cute. The new colors are so fun!
The Umbrella Academy
When I came home from surgery on Monday I slept for quite a few hours. After I woke up I didn’t know what to watch since I have seen everything worth watching this summer. My sister-in-law suggested the superhero/Marvel-esque The Umbrella Academy on Netflix. The show is suspenseful, entertaining, and really easy to watch (as long as the kids aren’t around). I’m more than halfway through the second season and love it.
A Post Surgery Favorite is on SALE

Make a Wish Connecticut
A Friday Favorite completely unrelated to my surgery: I’m so excited to be working with Make a Wish Connecticut this year! My hope is to raise $1,000 and help make wishes come true for local Connecticut children.
Although they’ve had to postpone more than 100 wishes due to Covid-19, Make-A-Wish Connecticut is innovating rapidly to grant wishes in new and safe ways across the state – wishes like room makeovers, pools, shopping sprees, and playhouses.
