Friday Favorites 98

Another fall week has flown by but this one is the best for quite a few reasons. Here are my Friday Favorites with a surprise reunion.

one. reunited.

Yesterday was pretty much the best day ever because Brandon drove up to Connecticut! The girls were beyond excited to see Daddy and Annabelle drew the cutest pictures for him. I didn’t help her with anything but the writing – how cute is her cat?! This has been a long time apart and I am beyond thrilled we are finally reunited.

two. needs and wants.

I’m really trying to narrow down the difference between my needs and wants in life right now. I NEED clothes for the cooler months because everything we own is in storage until we buy a house. However, I WANT everything I see and can’t decide on the necessities. There are a pair of booties I’ve had my eye on, but they aren’t falling into the “need” category (even though they’re an extra 30% off). What I truly need are sweaters, gloves, winter boots, and a scarf or two. Since I’ve been living out of 3 bags, I’ve learned I own way too many items that I never wear and when I finally have access to all my stuff, there will be some serious purging.

three. chapped lip solution.

Does anyone else have terribly crusty lips in the cold months? The worst is when you look like you’re wearing lipstick but it’s just really chapped… Yesterday I blogged about one of my new favorite products – LipLuxe! There is a lip scrub that I  use daily and then a gloss that makes my lips look so healthy and happy.

four. right hand rings.

I’ve always wanted a right hand ring that was the color of my birthstone on a gold setting – and thanks to Delezhen I have one! The adorable Etsy shop sent me a beautiful ring and a necklace with the girls birthstones and initials on it.
