Happy Friday Friends! It’s been a fun week chasing Ailey out of the cat litter box and taming a temperamental toddler. I’m excited to start the weekend early today with a little shopping trip. Tomorrow we are picking up my sister’s wedding dress and Sunday is my cousin’s graduation party. Enjoy my Friday Favorites this week.
one. simple mom outfits.
Don’t you just love the crochet on this dress? You can see the whole gorgeous maxi next week when my Simple Mom Outfit series again. Yesterday, I had met with my friend Beth, from Elizabeth Grant Photography, to snap some photos of me and the girls for the blog. I am beyond thrilled to be working with her – if you are in the Connecticut area, check her out meow.
two. stripes and a bow.
I NEED this Stripe Bow Back Crop Top from Asos for the 4th of July. I would pair it with high waist white jeans or high waist denim shorts.
three. rose gold sandals.
It’s no surprise that Birkenstocks have made a huge comeback – I’ve seen every fashion blogger I follow wearing them on a daily basis, but I’ve not been impressed enough to buy a pair until I saw my cousin’s rose gold Birks in person. The price tag is a little high for me, so I’ve scoured the internet for look-a-likes. I have my eye on a pair by Madden Girl that just might end up in my closet by the end of today.
four. Annabelle’s style box from Mac & Mia.
Did you see my post on Wednesday? If you missed it, you must go check it out… we reviewed a dress from Annabelle’s first Mac & Mia box! I’m totally obsessed with the idea of having a stylist send my girls unique clothing they can try on in the comfort of our own home. After deciding which items we like, it’s easy to send back anything we don’t …for free.
If you’re wondering what else was in Annabelle’s box, we took some photos yesterday with my friend Elizabeth Grant Photography of Annabelle in the other outfits – here is a sneak peek.
Ailey’s first box is en route to our house and I can’t wait to see what Molly P sent her as she totally nailed Annabelle’s personality.
five. taco stuffed zucchini.
O-m-ggggg. My Mom made these Taco Stuffed Zucchini Boats for my sister and me last night and they were so delicious. Ailey and Annabelle even ate them – Ailey ate more than Annabelle but that’s becoming the new norm. Debi tried to send the boats home to my brother-in-law, but I wrestled the leftovers out of her hands for myself.

I found your blog on the Five on Friday Link up. I have to say I love that dress! So pretty simply styled just my sort of dress. I need something to wear to a wedding as a Mother-in-law. However, she wants us moms in black dresses.
I will for sure take a look. Thank you!
Gorgeous pictures!!! Have fun this weekend with your sister and her wedding dress! That is so exciting!
Wow, those Taco Stuffed Zucchinis look amazing. Happy Friday!
