Today I’m sharing my Friday Favorites, which include a peek at Snail Mail for kids and simple mom outfits.

I don’t know when we started this, but Annabelle has been LOVING sending snail mail to my family in Connecticut. She designs cards or draws pictures for her favorites and even puts the stamp on the envelope. We’ve been having the most fun with Post Pal Club. They make unique pre-stamped postcards personalized with your face! Every kind needs a set of these postcards… and maybe I do too.

ICYMI, I started a new series on the blog called Simple Mom Outfits. I have three more posts queued up, but nothing after that. I’m hoping all my readers enjoy seeing the clothing that makes me feel comfortable, confident, and pretty (because all Moms deserve that!).

Last summer I struggled to find bathing suits that worked with my giant boobs and pregnant belly… this summer I’m having trouble finding bathing suits that won’t make me look like a teenager, but also aren’t too mom-ish. While researching rashguards for the girls, I came across a few suits from Lands End that might just make an appearance at the beach in June.

There is something about YA novels that I love – Gossip Girl is always going to be one of my most favorite series of all time – and I’m not embarrassed about that one bit. SO … Famous in Love is a book series turned TV show on Freeform that I’ve binge watched on Hulu (thanks GF) and now want more of. Apparently they’ve not renewed it for Season 2 yet, but it better be coming. Because the last episode ended with quite a bit of goodness and I need to know what happens!!! The only thing that bothers me is that Bella Thorne in real life is so weird… just look at her Insta stories.
five. this backpack on SALE!
If you haven’t heard of Lily-Jade yet, take your lovely self on over to their website and behold the prettiest leather diaper bags you ever did see. I have the Madeline in Camel & Jade – the bag can be worn three different ways (love the backpack!) and holds everything a Mom of two needs when she is headed out of the house. Oh and the 12 pocket washable jade organizer that comes with the bag is probably the greatest invention ever. The coolest part is that it doesn’t look like a diaper bag, nor does it have to be used as one once the kiddies are grown! Oh my goodness – my 4YO is also obsessed with mail lately and just made a card for his Oma! I may have to get him those postcards – that would bloooow his mind!
There is nothing better than sending and receiving snail mail! That is so so sweet. I try to send someone an uplifting note or card as much as I can! What a fun and darling backpack! And cute suits to, you’re gonna be ready for summer pretty girl! Happy weekend!
OK I LOVE everything you have going on here!! I need to get my kiddos those postcards! We have tons of out of town family that we snail mail and those are so stinkin cute! Those swimsuits are perfect. We’re headed on vacation shortly here and I’ve been looking for some new ones. Your taste is always so perfect! Those bathing suits are adorable! Can’t wait to see more of your simple mom series! I hang out with little ones as my day job sometimes and I always want to be functional for playing with them, but still look cute 🙂

That backpack is awesome!!! I’m thinking of switching over to one when my daughter is a little more mobile so that I can remain hands free!! Love those swimsuits and mom outfit too! Moms gotta feel good about themselves so pretty clothes help.
