Today I’m sharing one feeding option for a baby with tummy trouble, which includes a baby bottle for a gassy baby.
Ever since I found out I was pregnant, I knew my number one priority as a Mom is to make sure my baby is healthy and happy. While considering feeding options, I thought I wouldn’t need baby bottles since I exclusive breastfeed (EBF). Well, EBF doesn’t mean my baby doesn’t need a bottle – and if I thought that way, I would never be able to leave her side. Two babies and quite a few bottles later, I’ve learned how important to try out different bottles to find one that works.
Ailey has been a gassy baby, a colic-y baby, since she turned four months old.
Every night she screams for reasons we do not know, but the doctor said her behavior mimics that of a colic-y baby. We do know that she has a bit of reflux, dairy allergy, and trouble with gas. With that being said, we need to use a baby bottle that is designed for her unique issues. The Playtex Baby VentAire Bottle offers complete tummy comfort for Ailey in that it has a unique bottom vent designed to keep air at the back of the bottle and out of the baby’s tummy.

The Playtex Baby VentAire Bottle is great for a gassy baby.
I wish I had found the Playtex Baby VentAire Bottle when Ailey was much younger because we had a lot of trouble with spit-up. The micro-channel vents keep air at the back of the bottle as the baby drinks, so virtually no air mixes with the milk and gets into the baby’s tummy meaning less gas, spit-up, and overall fussiness.
The Playtex Baby VentAire also comes with a Most Like Mom® NaturaLatch® Nipple, which has a natural wide shape and a raised texture that helps the baby latch on naturally. The bottle’s “most like mom” nipple is clinically proven to mimic baby’s latch-on, for easy transitions from breastfeeding to bottle.
The Playtex Baby VentAire was a finalist in the 2017 Moms’ Pick Awards. Moms’ Picks Awards go to the best gear in the 25 categories that matter most to BabyCenter moms and dads. I am so excited that I was able to try out the Playtex Baby VentAire in exchange for this review.
The Playtex BabyTM VentAire® is a great bottle for new babies with sensitive tummies, or older babies who might have a little bit of a gas issue, like my Ailey. Always keep your baby’s health and happiness in mind!

I got this bottle for my nephew because he was having gas problems when my brother in law would feed him. It worked wonders for him.
