There are so many things I love about fall – fashion, food, etc. Today I’m sharing my fall Friday favorites with a few family updates!
one. fall hats.
I’ve always loved hats… however, I go through stages where I don’t like to wear them. This season I’m all about a maroon hat I bought in Provincetown at my sister’s bachelorette party in May. If I could find it in beige and black I would be all set for Fall!
two. sweet potato turkey chili for fall.
My sister made the BEST turkey chili I have ever had for Ailey’s Sip and See last weekend. She sent me the recipe and I made a batch as soon as I got back to Georgia. We’ve been eating it all week, but I haven’t had a chance to take a photo or post the recipe. The Healthy Maven has a recipe that’s very similar to my sister’s, so until I post hers, check it out.
three. She said YES!
They have a wedding date!!!! September 23, 2017 my sister and her fiance are going to say, “I do!” The wedding planning was kicked into full gear after Tine said YES to the most beautiful dress made by Rue de Seine at Everthine Bridal Boutique in Madison, CT.
four. breast pump number 2.
Am I the only Mom who didn’t know that most insurance companies cover a second breast pump for a second child?! My poor Medela has been slow and sad lately, but I have a pretty new Spectra S2 on it’s way to my house! Here is how I keep my breast pump parts clean.
five. fall family weekend.
I am so excited for our little family of four to enjoy the fall weather this weekend! Annabelle, Ailey, and I were in CT for 12 days without Brandon and we all need some time together.

I LOVE your hat! I need one!
I go through hat phases too! But I love that one! 🙂
Ohh wedding planning can be so exciting!
I need to try that chili, it sounds amazing! Have a great weekend!
Love the hat!! Hope you are having a wonderful weekend!
I make sweet potato turkey chili a few times a month. It is sooo good! Sometimes I roast the sweet potato and add in some roasted butternut squash too! Absolutely love that hat, so adorable 🙂
That chili looks amazing! I make chili so often that I need new recipes. Thanks.
