Today I’m sharing my 34th Friday Favorites and our plans for the next few days. Enjoy!
Friday Favorites – 34
one. savvy infusion.
My brother, sister-in-law, and nephews sent me this AWESOME water bottle for my 30th. The Savvy Infusion bottle is the perfect accessory for the pregnant girl with never-ending thirst. I’m addicted to fresh lemon water and carry this bottle everywhere. I keep telling myself I should try a fruit combination – so that’s on my to-do list this weekend!
two. antipasti.
One of my family’s staples for the food table at an event is an Antipasti tray. My Dad is the one who loves assembling the beautiful array of meats, cheeses, and Italian goodies the most – and I look forward to his creations whenever I go home. At my best friend Kim’s Sprinkle last weekend, her Aunt and Mother-in-Law put together an Antipasti spread that made me drool. I WILL be replicating Aunt Vicki’s Antipasti array sometime very soon.
three. Gentle Baby.
One of my favorite essential oils for Annabelle – it’s sweet smell and calming effect have won it a place in our bedtime routine. I dab a little behind Annabelle’s ears, a drop for her bunny, and add it to the diffuser with Lavender. Even when Annabelle is losing her mind because she doesn’t want to go to bed, she stops crying to let me apply her oils.
four. an anniversary.
April 15, 2013 will forever be marked as one of the scariest days of my life. Seven weeks pregnant, awaiting the arrival of my best friend Melissa at the finish line of the Boston Marathon, I witnessed an act of terrorism so horrific and scarring I still find myself not believe it really happened. May we take a moment of silence to remember the lives that were lost, the people who were affected, and the angels that watched over us.
Not just a day of sadness, but a day of joy for my friends and their families. April 15, 2013 will forever be marked as my the day my best friend said, “Yes” to her college sweetheart’s proposal. It’s with mixed emotions we remember this chilly Spring day in Boston. Melissa and Andrew will celebrate their second wedding anniversary this September.
five. cuteness.
How could I not post something about the cuteness that walked out my door this week? Annabelle had crazy sock and hat day at school – and this is the ensemble we put together. She resembled a confused little gardener and I loved it. She begged me to take her to Target this week to buy a new toy – and what Mommy can say, “No” when their little one is being such a good girl AND looks like this? Well, our trip introduced us to something called Li’l Woodzeez… and I have a feeling this is only the beginning of a new addiction. She hasn’t played with anything but her baby dolls for more than 10 minutes at a time, and last night she sat with her tiny friends for 45 minutes. The only reason we stopped playing was because it was tubby time!
How scary that must have been in Boston!! I know it was a crazy day.. Chelsea @ thewilliamsjourney1.blogspot.com

You were at the Boston bombings? OMG girl, so glad you are safe! what a horrible, horrible event that was… I remember hearing the news and just feeling sick that whole day.
Oh my word, I can’t believe that you were there. That was such a terrible day and such a sad thing to have to remember every year. I’m glad that you weren’t harmed!
