one. baby name game.
Brandon and I have officially started playing the Baby Name game! Just like with Annabelle, we create a big list of names that we like. Then we put the names on a bracket and have a little bit of Baby Name Madness until we pick a winner.
two. my new best friend.
Anyone who has ever been pregnant knows that your boobs will suddenly have a mind of their own. One day they feel like cones of fire under your shirt, the next they are 6 sizes bigger and leaking colostrum. I’m in that middle stage where they’ve grown a little, but still have a ways to go, and none of my bras fit. I headed to good ole VS to find something to hold me over and found the Lounge Bra. HELLO comfort! No wires, but lots of support and a racerback.
three. spring weather.
There is nothing more amazing then getting home while it’s still light out and being able to spend time with Annabelle outside. The first photo is my favorite because her hair is ridiculous… she wouldn’t let me put her piggy tails back in, so she rocked the mohawk while digging in the dirt.
four. nursery theme.
Since we are going to be moving Annabelle to a new room and transforming her already gray nursery into something different for Baby H 2.0, I’ve been on a hunt for a theme that would match the existing wall color. FLOWERS! I have found so many beautiful ideas for a floral themed nursery on Pinterest. Check them out here and please send any suggestions my way!
five. hellooooo baby!
I FINALLY felt the baby kick!!! Wednesday night while I was laying in bed, little Princess Pants tapped, “Hello” not once, but twice! She also has decided to actually show the world she exists and literally POPPED overnight. Everyone who has walked by me in school the last two days has commented that I finally look pregnant.
six. ways to annoy your husband.
Yesterday’s blog post topic was quite the hit. I confessed the different ways I irritate my husband – ways that HE told me about. What I found most comical were the number of comments I received confirming I was not alone. Who knew I was the only wife with bad timing? Or who falls asleep during moves? Or leaves the lights on?!

Is it weird that I play the baby name game too even though I’m not pregnant? I’ve had a running list for years and just add to it here and there but lately it’s been on my mind full force! My husband thinks it’s cute/weird/annoying/funny/crazy but I can’t help it! Also, I love the flower themed nursery. I’ve pinned crazy amounts of floral/woodland things to keep in mind for the future….because I’m not actually pregnant ?
What a fun way to pick a baby name! And that bra looks soooooooooo comfy, even though I’m not pregnant I think I need it in my life. After nursing 3 babies these boobs need help, LOL. I LOVE the idea of a floral print nursery! Going to check out your yesterdays post – Happy Weekend!
