Friday Favorites 111

Despite the chaos of the week, I think Friday arrived rather quickly. As promised, here are my favorites from this week.

one. kindness counts.

Aside from my own personal issues I shared on my IG story yesterday, I’m sending some love to all of the families affected by the tragic events in Parkland. Thought for today and the weekend: a little kindness can change everything.

two. giveaways.

three. Stitch Fix.

I am a huge fan of trying out delivery services (like Purple Carrot) and was so excited to receive my first Stitch Fix in the mail. When I first opened the box I was not impressed with the items, but once I tried them on I realized I really liked a few pieces. The green vest and black sweatshirt were my favorite and if I hadn’t been sick over the weekend, I probably would have remembered to keep them.

four. Valentine’s Day Love.

My girls were the sweetest little Valentine’s (and their Daddy too!) for getting me chocolate covered strawberries and a pin to wear with pride. We went out for Chinese Food (Ailey learned how to say noodles!) and brought my Mom along. It was a cute little day complete with a bouquet of flowers from my very own Dad.

five. ONE AND A HALF

Somehow Ailey turned one and a half on Thursday… and it seems like yesterday I was posting a picture of her at 6 months old. Our little one is growing up so fast and changing every day. Her vocabulary is exploding – just this morning she said “school” for the first time as clear as a bell. We have had some great nights of sleep, but the last two she’s wanted someone to cuddle her. I think she is going through a developmental leap of some sort though.

six. weekend sales.

Do you ever feel your cash burning a hole in your pocket? I could have a dollar in my wallet and hear it calling my name… begging me to spend it anywhere until it’s gone. This weekend there are some stellar sales that my credit card wants to attend.
