How many parents have heard the pediatrician say it’s healthier for your child to eat fresh fruit instead of drinking fruit juice? There is a lack of nutrients and fiber, plus added sugar in most store bought fruit juices. What about cold pressed fresh fruit juice though? The best fruit juice for kids to drink is cold pressed fruit juice.
The average fruit juice lacks the nutrients and fiber found in a real piece of fruit. Plus, there’s often added sugar or weird stuff that I’d rather not give my kids. Fruit juice has been linked to obesity (in overconsumption) and tooth decay. We also discovered in the last few months that the fruit juice we were buying was upsetting Ailey’s stomach. Ailey had awful gas and constipation, so we kicked the fruit juice to the curb.
The struggle was real at home since both daughters love their juice, but I couldn’t allow them to drink it knowing all of the negatives. One day my sisters brought home a bottle of RIPE Cold Pressed Apple Juice and all was suddenly right in our household.

How does RIPE Craft Juice differ from other fruit juices?
RIPE only cold presses their juice and then uses high pressure (HPP) to keep the juice raw, yet safe. HPP allows them to preserve the color, flavor, aroma, and nutrients of the juice where as heating it, or pasteurizing it, can eliminate the natural taste, color, aroma and nutritional value.
No Sugar Added Makes Moms Happy
One of the BEST aspects about RIPE Craft Juice is that there is no added sugar to any flavors, except the Northeast Cran (it has a touch of organic cane sugar). My girls aren’t a fan of cranberry juice though, so all of the juice they drink is natural sugar. RIPE never adds any preservatives or chemicals to their juices – another win for parents who are conscious about what their children drink. All of their juices are non-GMO, gluten free, and kosher. They are also paleo (except for the NE Cran).
What is so reassuring about RIPE’s Craft Juice is that all of the produce used is traceable back to the farms where it is grown. RIPE knows all of theirs farmers and exactly what variety of fruit goes into each bottle. There is actually a code on the neck of the Craft juice bottles that allows you trace where the fruit from your juice came from. How fancy is that?
If you’re looking to try RIPE, here is where to buy RIPE Craft Juice.
