How come whenever there is a snow day on a Wednesday it feels like the longest week ever? For the record, we only saw about 1/16 inch of snow before it turned to ice/sleet. These Friday Favorites are all about farm fresh flowers, a fancy gala, my daughters, and more.

two. a fancy gala.
Tonight I’m headed to a fancy gala with Brandon that his company is sponsoring… I feel a little bit like Cinderella as a few fairy Godmothers helped me get ready for the event. My cousin let me borrow her shoes, my friend let me borrow her coat, my favorite hair stylist is doing my hair, and I borrowed two dresses from Rent the Runway.

three. staying inside. 
My daughters and I have been under self-proclaimed house arrest in order to avoid all of the flu and cold germs floating around our town. Both girls have had colds nonstop for the month of January and I am worried that their immune systems are too weak to fight something bigger. SO we don’t leave our house. Or if we do, I go and they stay home. Now you may wonder how being cooped up in the house could be fun… but we make it fun! Lots of dance parties and laughing.
four. cold pressed craft juice.
This week we had a lot of fun doing a shoot with RIPE and Elizabeth Grant Photography. If you’ve not had RIPE before, you have to try it… check here to see where you can buy it. It is seriously delicious – like a glass of apple juice tastes like biting into an apple – and its the only fruit juice I let my girls drink. I’ll be posting about them next week.

I work at Whole Foods on Cape Cod and Ripe Juice is always doing demos-so delicious and fresh and a great cocktail mixer as well! Love all of their products compared to so many processed juices.
