Flower crowns remind me of my youth – being an innocent little girl who believed in fairies and magic.
My Aunt Kate used to send me a flower crown and fairy wand for my birthday every year as a child. Since the package came all the way from Idaho, usually smelling like Lavender, I always imagined my gifts were handmade by a magical fairy somewhere far far away.
I’ve always dreamt of being able to share my love of wonder with my daughter. My heart warms when I witness Annabelle’s love of magic. If she gets a hold of a frilly tutu or ribbon wand, she immediately transforms. Annabelle instantly turns into a lovely little sprite, whirling and twirling as if she is floating through the air.
Historically, flower crowns are a symbol of fertility, peace, love, and celebration.
It’s no wonder that girls of all ages have fallen in love with the accessory and wear them proudly. To me, flower crowns will always be a symbol of beauty and innocence.

These are so nice. I make fabric flower accessories, but just to give away, or for fun. I’m wearing a necklace with a rose. I love looking on Etsy for gifts and ideas, too.
