Today I’m sharing our Christmas trip to Tennessee to visit Brandon’s family and celebrate Ailey’s first Christmas. Merry Christmas Eve!
Merry Christmas Eve! We are home safe from our day trip to Tennessee to celebrate Christmas with Brandon’s parents and grandparents. We had such a fun time visiting with family and watching Annabelle tear open present after present. Her most exciting gifts were her Daddy’s collection of Wizard of Oz music boxes and a pink bicycle!
This morning Brandon and I woke up at 6am ready to get the festivities in gear. I grabbed Ailey to go grocery shopping while Brandon and Annabelle went to buy some last minute gifts. I was so proud of myself thinking my To Do list was done by 10, but the lack of packages on our front door step was a telltale sign that I never hit Complete Order on my Amazon account a few days ago.
I went into crazy Santa Mom mode trying to find a pink microphone for Annabelle, calling every store within a 10 mile radius. Thanks to Sheila at Target for helping me find one!
The rest of our Christmas Eve will be spent making cookies for Santa, watching “It’s a Wonderful Life,” and driving around to look at Christmas lights. I can’t wait for Annabelle to open her Christmas Eve gift tonight – I found her new favorite movie “Home Alone” in book form!
We hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas or a Happy Hanukkah!!!
