I’m officially 25 weeks pregnant with Baby H 2.0 and missing sleep, feeling Braxton Hicks, and wearing giant underwear.

How far along: 25 weeks 2 days
Total weight gain: 21 lbs.
Baby Size: According to the fun vegetable comparison chart, Baby A is the size of a head of cauliflower.
Baby Facts: She can most likely make a fist and hold her feet while flipping around in the womb (no wonder I feel her so much!). She is developing regular sleep/wake patterns and her nostrils are now open.
Movement: I forget when I am supposed to start counting kicks but I truly feel her every few hours! I think she might like to dance like her big sister.
Sleep: Night sweats are no fun. I am so hot not matter how cold the a/c is and often end up blanket-less in the night.
Cravings/Aversions: Fresh fruit and cold drinks… I’ve also started munching ice, but hopefully its just because I have been hot and NOT pica again.
Symptoms: Braxton Hicks – had my first a few weeks ago and now have 1-2 a day. Braxton Hicks are contractions of your uterus, but nothing to be worried about (unless they turn into real contractions). You feel tightening in your lower abdomen I was a little alarmed last week because I had some lower back pain and a little cramping as well. The doctor said to just put my feet up in the evenings – funny thing is this happened at 25 weeks with Annabelle too.
Breast Pain – I have a feeling the milk is coming in! Yesterday my breasts hurt and all I could think about was how similar it felt to after giving birth. The milkies can hold on – I am not ready for leaky boobs!
Old Lady Syndrome – I hate how my body aches like I am 90 years old. I stretch my body multiple times a day to help with the pains – thankfully my ENERGY LEVELS are strong!
Exercise: Other than my stretching and some upper body workouts, I haven’t been able to do much. My varicose veins have been swelling more quickly and they make it difficult to walk.
Randoms: After looking at my bump update with Annabelle during this week, I had to laugh over my Kardashian comments on my backside. My hips and butt grew 2x their normal size when I was pregnant the first time – and it has happened again. I literally went up two underwear sizes in 6 months and I can’t fit in a pair of maternity shorts I just bought 3 weeks ago. I know I should be happy to be blessed with child bearing hips but come on now!
Favorites: Celebrating Mother’s Day holding both of my girls. I could not have had a more amazing day with my favorites. Brandon did an incredible job making me feel important and Annabelle loved wishing me a “Happy Mother’s Day” every chance she could get. Annabelle kills me with her need to pose the same way that I do!

The munching ice might be from anemia, a common thing with pregnancy. It’s one of the 3-5 symptoms the hematologist asks me! (For clarification, I’m not pregnant. Just anemic!)

You look great! Haha, I hear you with the child bearing hips, I was the same way. Although after my second I feel like the hips stuck around but my butt isn’t proportionate anymore. (TMI, sorry) 🙁 Beautifully Candid
