I’m sharing details of my pregnancy at 22 weeks. Enjoy this summary of 22 weeks pregnant with my weight gain, cravings, baby’s development and more!
How far along: 22 weeks 3 days
Total weight gain: 12-14 lbs
Baby Size: She is about 11 inches long, which is just about one inch shorter than your average 12-inch ruler and most likely crossed the one-pound mark in weight.
Movement: I know she has gotten bigger because I can feel her so much more!
Sleep: Getting up for work in the morning has been tough because even though I am exhausted at night, I can’t fall asleep.
Cravings/Aversions: Almond butter and strawberry preserves on toasted cinnamon raisin bagels OR Italian sliced bread. Italian food. I am back to despising seafood.
Symptoms: Eye Problems – I know that during pregnancy your vision can get weird, but the floaters and strange shadows I see in my peripheral vision is driving me nuts. Not to mention the dry eyes! Varicose veins – why does the one near my lady parts hurt so much when I wake up in the morning? Heartburn – Zantac is not doing its job – and peppermint only works sometimes. I still can’t figure out my trigger food. Thirst – Still feeling thirsty ALL THE TIME. Dizziness/Breathing – I am becoming dizzy at random times during the day and having some trouble breathing after I eat. How is this happening so early?
Exercise: On Saturday I had the worst ride ever at Flywheel. No energy, my legs didn’t work, and I felt like I sweat out enough water to fill a small pool. Hopefully tomorrow is a better class.
Mood: Actively trying to be focus on the positive when the crazy crazy starts brewing inside.
Miss Anything: Not having to go to the bathroom every 30 minutes.
