Just when you think Internet Trolls are fake, you find one lurking in the shadow. This is what it’s like to be bullied on the internet.
Well it happened. I found myself on a haters website along 23 posts bashing my blog. They attacked my writing, my lifestyle, my looks, and called me awful. I had a good laugh reading these posts. I really don’t understand how people can sit around and trash talk others all day long, without looking at their ugly selves in the mirror? I am not going to defend anything that they said – because that is what they probably want.
What I will do though is say, “Thank you.” Thank you for showing me that my blog is popular enough to be shittalked about. Thank you for pointing out some things that maybe I should change. Thank you for humbling me. Thank you for putting my blog out there for others to click and enjoy….because I have gotten new friendly readers from your little discussion.
To anyone that has found themselves being bullied on the internet – bullied in the sense that others talk so meanly about your blog it makes you want to stop writing – stand up and look those bullies in the eye and tell them THANK YOU. What doesn’t kill us makes us stronger. And no one is going to shut my blog down.

I stumbled upon this site by accident once (I think I was googling a blog and I found it??) and I will fully admit to checking it out because I was curious. But HOLY SHIT. The people on this site are crazy b’s. Seriously. We have all read blogs and read things we don’t like, seen outfits we don’t like, found people that, from what they write, we don’t like. Totally your prerogative. However, to spend hours and hours just bashing people online? Grow the eff up. Get a life. Find a hobby.
It is like junior high. Legit mean girls and much of it is so so petty (like, she tweeted/blogged/posted on FB DURING THE WORK DAY. OMG. SHE IS SUCH A SLACKER. SHE HAS NO IDEA WHAT A REAL JOB IS (meanwhile, the haters are on the site posting IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY). They also are HUGE fans of saying someone looks older than they are. Like that is the ultimate dig. Oooohhh…she is only 29 but she looks like she is, like, 37. Wtf?
Sorry for the rant, but this site is out of control. If you don’t like someone or what they write, DON’T READ IT or talk to your friends about it. Don’t put it out on a website.
You’re better than they are…that is all. They were the ones bullied years ago and this is how they take their frustrations are. Have they ever heard of sex?

I’m on that site right there with you….I was really hurt at first but now I just laugh…and soak up the thousands of hits it sends me every month…those people on there are seriously cray though…and I’m convinced they are just butt-hurt or jealous bloggers…they seriously stalk the bloggers they rant about.

So dumb. Those people are the ones that we should all feel bad for…taking time to bash other people. They are just jealous of everyone’s creativity, style and courage to put themselves out there. I love your blog…keep up the good work and keep laughing back at them! 🙂

Thank you for this post. For over a year I held back my blogging for fear of meeting nasty people but thanks to this now I feel even more comfortable blogging in the open. I just don’t get why people feel the need to trash talk others, if they don’t like a person wouldn’t it be easier to ignore them? I guess they just need to be entertained one way or another.
