Tonight B and I are spending our first Christmas Eve alone with little Miss Annabelle and Mcmuffin. Being that I am HUGE on traditions, I can’t describe how excited I am that we are starting our own tonight. Dinner, movies, music, fireplace, twinkling tree, Christmas books, and maybe a present or two.
I am making us a nice little feast of ham, scalloped potatoes, and asparagus wrapped in prosciutto. We have a stack of Christmas movies to watch by the fireplace. In that stack: Miracle on 34th Street, White Christmas, and It’s a Wonderful Life. Then B will read “Twas the Night Before Christmas” to Annabelle and we will write Santy a little letter.
Annabelle will be leaving the reindeer some treats and Santy Clause a pile of cookies on her new personalized bowl and plate from her Auntie Christine, Uncle Jesse, and cousins Ian and Finn. I am SO in love with these!
Our precious family of four wishes you a merry Christmas Eve!
I hope you’ve gotten all of your shopping done and get to relax today =0)
Enjoy your new traditions!!!!
