Do you ever feel like you are taking a mini trip back in time when you get a whiff of a scent you used to wear??
For some reason, I’ve worn certain scents which captured a certain moment in my life. For example, I discovered Bath and Body Works in 5th grade and was obsessed with Sun Ripened Raspberry:
Then I moved on to Plumeria for 6th grade:
And Sweet Pea for 7-9th grade:
Anytime I smell either one of those scents I get taken back to a time of braces, awkward hair, cross country meets, boys who didn’t like me, school plays, and dance recitals.
Then I moved on to Victoria Secret’s Love Spell in 10th grade:
And graduated to real PERFUME, Ralph by Ralph Lauren, the summer before 11th grade:
Throw some Body Wash in there for Senior Year …. I went on a cruise (where I met my hubsby) and used something tropical every day in the shower. To the day, I’ll get a whiff of it and it takes me back to 2003 on the Carnival Victory.
In college, freshman and sophmore year I wore Burberry and Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue….
Then Mr. Bear (who was my bf at the time) turned me on to Gucci….
Oh my goodness!! That RALPH LAUREN brings back memories! I totally forgot about that one!! HAHA! Right now im loving DAISY by Marc Jacobs~ sooo yummy!

Bath and Body Works Sun Ripened Raspberry definitely takes me back to elementary school! I was obsessed with the stuff!
Currently, I love Marc Jacobs Daisy. It has been my “signature scent” for over 2 years which is a record for me!
Girl…I rocked the B&B and Love Spell at about the same exact time you did. I’m loving Angel Innocent right now by Thierry Mugler. It’s a much softer, lighter scent for the spring and my Mr. absolutely loves it!
Viktor & Rolf – Flowerbomb. So delicious! JB got me a bottle for our first Christmas together. It’s been gone for a while, but as soon as I can afford it, I am getting more. I loved all the scents above, so you will probably like this one too.
I am the worst with perfumes… I *want* to love them, but then they are always too much for me. Hmmmm… I am going to need to work on that!
This is hilarious! I wore the B&B probably every day in middle school, and my mother hated every second of it. I wear Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb almost every day, too. But sometimes I switch it up and wear Chanel Coco Mademoiselle.
