We moved into our new house at the end of January and due to the death of my Grandma/Mr. Bear’s weeklong business trip, our house is STILL NOT IN ORDER. We finally got our tv and furniture for the basement aka man cave… but it isn’t completely decorated. Here is a little sneaky peek:

The couches are so comfy all I want to do is take a nap – not decorate!
Slowly but surely we will get where I can take pictures of our new digs and show you all where the Bears reside. I must have the guest room and bathroom done by Thursday because my cousin is coming to visit, however I have class til 7 tonight and Wednesday night. This is no good. Anyone want to come organize my home??
This weekend I went to get my emissions test done and a new MD license. Did you know it took Mr. Bear EIGHT trips to the MVA before he had his license and car registered???
WELL I TOOK THREE TRIPS ON SATURDAY to two different places and I STILL DONT HAVE MY MD LICENSE. And MD… now you shall have to wait even longer to say I am one of your residents because I am not driving back there this week to face your stupid lines and rude staff.
I was so frustrated I think I cried the entire 30 minute drive home after the last MVA told me that they couldn’t give me my license because our lease agreement wasn’t filled out properly…only to find out that those idiots don’t know how to read! I called our real estate agent and she said that the fat cows at the MVA were wrong and if I had called her on the spot I could have explained the documents.
Do you hate the DMV?? If you don’t… it’s just because you have been lucky. Wait… you shall have a trip from hell and you will join the rest of America in hating that wretched place!
I despise the DMV!!! Ugh! Sorry lady 🙁 The basement looks awesome though! 🙂
I’m sorry you’ve had such a hard time becoming an MD resident! I went through the same problems when I had to become a PA resident. I was fuming by my 4th/5th visit and got to the point where I was extremely short and rude. Gahhhh I hope the next time is your last time!!
And the “man cave” looks amazing…I want to come nap on those amazing couches!
LOVE the mancave! I won’t let JB have one. LOL! All of the space is OUR space! Maybe I should post some pics of my house though.
The “man cave” looks awesome! I would definitely recommend going to Home Goods for things above the fireplace~ they have THE BEST things for that! Unique too!
