Mr. Bear does not like babies. Or at least he doesn’t like pictures of babies. I am always trying to show him the cute babies our friends have… produced… and he is NOT interested.
It always goes like this….
Me: Awww look!!! Katie’s baby is SO CUTE!
Mr. Bear: Huh? What? Another baby picture. I don’t even want to see it.
Me: No really, look, isn’t she adorable?
Mr. Bear: Ya, whatever, they all look the same. *Scowls and turns away*
Me: Hahahaha he looks like a little old man.
Mr. Bear: Whatever.
Mr. Bear: Whatever.
He does the same for baby videos…
Me: Mr. Bear!!! Look!!! Her baby is dancing!!!
Mr. Bear: Nope. Busy. Go away.
What’s gonna happen when we have our own baby?
Please tell me that grumpy anti-baby guys turn to mush when you have one of your own. PLEASE… reassure me.
My husband is the same way… but I always say that it will backfire on him when we have a baby, and that tough look will go to mushy look. LOL
I don’t know but I sure hope so. My husband keeps pushing for no children to preserve the planet. Or something. He’s mostly kidding (I hope…)
Oh I sure hope so!!! Russ isn’t bad but doesn’t find it near as amusing as I do!
I think they will…they HAVE to…it’s their own kind. Right? RIGHT! 🙂
I think it’s totally different when guys have their own babies. AW isn’t a big fan of my friends’ babies, but he turns to complete MUSH when we are around his niece. He just eats her up! I can’t wait to see how he melts when we have our own one day.

How can he NOT love a squishy little baby?! Us women are different.. and some men DO like babies, but I was even one of those people that didn’t really care for babies until I had my own. And now that I have I love ALLLLL babies. Don’t worry… he will love yours. In fact, he will turn into one of those baby loving crazies too! I guarantee!
I’m still waiting for my husband to like babies. It’s funny because toddlers love him. They will grab onto his leg at the grocery store because they think he’s their parent! He’s polite but will scowl to me later. Although my husband’s boss says this will change after 30!
Dont worry it will happen some day! When you have your own it will be totally different!
