Well I sure was happy when I heard the sound of rain this morning… and that it is still raining now at 11am. We were in some desperate need of water – our grass and garden looked so thirsty!
Today is the perfect day to get stuff done around the house – we have a lot of new furniture that needs to be re-arranged and filled (with clothes). I pulled the muscles in my quads on Mon and Tues though, so it’s gonna be rough today trying to get this stuff done.
We leave for CT early Saturday morning and I am SO EXCITED!! We are going to my friend’s wedding and then to CAPE COD with mi familia. It shall be a great vacation – even though I may have spied some rainy days ahead next week. Rain can’t stop my family from having a good time.
I hate seeing all these advertisements for back to school clothes and supplies. Teachers don’t go back until August 22nd and I honestly don’t want to think about school until that Monday morning. I learned that last year I was way too prepared for my own good, and this year I need to just let things play out for themselves at school. Plus, that first week is filled with Professional Development and shenanigans.
However…. it is important to enjoy NOW and not think about later. So that is what I am gonna do. I am off the library to pick up some books for vacation =0)
I am so not ready to go back to school 🙁 We actually have to start back on the 10th and then kids come on the 22nd. Boooo!
