One of my favorite parts about the holiday season is spreading Christmas cheer through every room in the house. Since we recently bought a home with a few more rooms than our last, I’ve been stocking up on festive decor every time I find a great deal. The dining room is where we plan to eat many holiday meals and create wonderful memories with our family. I’m excited to share my holiday dining room decor after shopping at Boscov’s.
Decorating the Dining Room Table
Red, green, gold and white are some of my favorite colors to decorate with during the holiday season. Plaid is a festive print that comes in many different color combinations for any color scheme. Boscov’s had a great selection of plaid linens, as well as placemats for layering decor. I used gold glittery pine cone ornaments as part of my tablescape and added a pre-lit lantern, candle sticks, and artificial trees.
During the holidays we love to eat on special dinnerware and I’ve been collecting pieces by Pfaltzgraff® since I was married in 2008. I couldn’t believe Boscov’s was carrying Pfaltzgraff® at 50-60% off, so I picked up tree shaped dipping bowls, appetizer plates, festive spreaders, a cheese board, and beautiful wine glasses. These items are ideal for entertaining guests before dinner begins and I can’t wait to use them.

Decorating a Holiday Bar Cart
We love changing out the decor on our bar cart for each season. It’s an easy way to add charm to your dining room (or where ever the cart may reside). A set of battery powered lights and mini trees can stay up all winter season, not just for Christmas. Boscov’s carries a variety of festive drink ware and bar accessories that will cheer up any holiday party.

Decorating a Dining Room Cabinet
We have a beautiful piece of furniture to store our serving dishes, extra wine glasses, and linens that is easy to decorate each season as well. Boscov’s carries garland of all sizes, both plain and pre-lit, which is easy to drape over furniture or above any window. I found a Nutcracker with countdown cubes for Christmas, a wooden Snowman stand, and a light-up snow covered cottage for the top of our cabinet.

Decorating my home for the holidays with Boscov’s was so much fun. After stocking my cart with holiday decorations, I popped into the children’s department to pick up red tutu dresses for the girls and then zipped by the women’s department for Christmas pajamas for my Mom. From high quality brands to low prices, free gift wrap and a HUGE holiday home decor spot in stores, I can honestly say shopping at Boscov’s is always pleasurable.
Thank you to Boscov’s for sponsoring this post. As always, all opinions are honest and my own.
