Is today really Friday? Is it too early for wine? This week has felt so long, but there is always a bright side, so here are my Friday Favorites.
It started with a dead car battery, but isn’t ending too shabby. I spent a few nights awake with cranky Ailey, but there were more positives than negatives to make up for it all. One awesome moment was a photo session with Elizabeth Grant Photography ( see above). If you live in CT, or the New England area, and need a photographer (wedding/engagement/family/lifestyle), definitely check her out. I can’t wait to show you what we have been working on… keep an eye on my Instastory for some sneak peeks!
one. back to school.
Its about time for us to update Annabelle’s school back pack now that she has wore her little kitty one out. Pottery Barn Kids is having a sale this weekend with FREE SHIPPING. I think the fact that this backpack already has a form of her name on it is fate.
two. dress shopping.
Time is ticking away … our friend’s Arizona wedding weekend (PLUS my sister’s rehearsal dinner) is going to be here before I know it. I have to find dresses for three events and I feel like I’ve scoured the internet for a month now, only to come up with nothing. SO, my Mom, sisters, daughters and I are going shopping this weekend. It could be disastrous bringing along the girls, but desperate times call for desperate measures.
three. birthday celebrations.
Even though Ailey already had her first birthday party last weekend, we are obviously going to have another little celebration on Tuesday when she actually turns one. Annabelle wants to do something very special, so we are going to bake her a cake… and make her a card. She will have some presents to open from family and love the extra attention (and sugar) she will be showered with.
four. SYTYCD with Annabelle.
I am LOVING that Annabelle finally truly enjoys watching SYTYCD with me. She wants to be a dancer someday, just like the girls on the show, so she is completely enamored with Momma’s favorite show.
five. baby watch.
Tank // Crib // Leggings // Rug
I’ll be helping Lizzie pack her hospital bag (she didn’t want to jinx anything) and download movies for her hospital stay (she isn’t all about Christmas like me) this weekend. I can’t stop rubbing her belly every time I see her and praying for new Momma strength and a safe journey to the real world for Sloane. She really could come any day… but I have a feeling she is enjoying where she is. We aren’t ready to rush the little sweetie out just yet.
Read about me – 39 weeks pregnant – on this day last year…
That backpack is adorable! I’m sure your little girl will love it : ) Have a great weekend.
Such a cute backpack. It is always exciting when you get your little girl to watch something you enjoy. My 5 year old has started watching Date my Dad with me, it reminds me of 7th Heaven that I use to watch with my mom
